Hi, I’m Hailey —
I design scalable systems that improve lives and support growth.

About me

I am experienced in end-to-end design improving cross-platform web and mobile experiences for millions of consumers while meeting business objectives and enabling growth. I specialize in scalable design systems and I’m an expert in building flexible, multi-product Figma libraries aligned with Native experiences and React web views.

I work closely across practices to deliver accessible resources to increase consistency across products, adoption rates, delivery times, and ease of use for both product teams and end user alike.

Highlights from my experience include:

  • Building the entire Figma library for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid — reducing UI inconsistencies by 50% and increasing overall product team use of design system resources by more than 30%.

  • Establishing an internal design system for ARNG, reducing the time to ship code by more than 25% and increasing web lead conversions by 15%.

  • Defining process guidance for accessibility responsibilities by practice for Healthcare.gov, which reduced mistakes found in testing by over 20%.

  • Empowering over 15 small businesses with internal design systems for beautiful, scalable brands that can grow effortlessly.

As a design leader for the teams I work with, I routinely lead coaching calls on DS resources and Figma skills, establish supportive process frameworks, and drive improvements for cross-functional communication and collaboration.

What I’ve been reading lately

I love books for their ability to give us new perspectives. I care more about writing style than genre — some favorite authors include Octavia Butler, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Ursula K. Le Guin, Sally Rooney, and Tana French.

Reading is a lifelong love and I am constantly on the lookout for new recommendations — let me know if you have any!
