About me

I am an end-to-end designer with a proven track record of improving user experiences while meeting business objectives. Currently, I translate technical and policy-driven requirements into cohesive improvements within the complex landscape of federal healthcare.

I specialize in scalable systems and I’m an expert in building flexible, multi-product Figma libraries aligned with Native experiences and React web views.

Highlights from my experience include:

  • Building the Figma library for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid — increasing overall product team use of design system resources by more than 30%.

  • Increasing web lead conversion by 15% for the Army National Guard by redesigning user flows based on validated user research around user goals and behaviors.

  • Establishing an internal design system for ARNG, reducing the time to ship code by more than 25%.

  • Reskinning Healthcare.gov’s authenticated My account experience, seeing an increase in success rates for finding and completing key tasks (final metrics TBD!)

What it’s like to work with me

“I got a closer look at Hailey’s work on the high-stakes Figma migration, which she fully handled by building the entire library. I’ve done this type of work many times myself, so I reviewed her output with particular scrutiny—it was exemplary. Hailey is also a great teammate and collaborator, and she’s quick to respond to and remediate any issues.”

What I’ve been reading lately

I love books for the ability to share new perspectives. I care more about writing style than genre — some favorite authors include Octavia Butler, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Ursula K. Le Guin, Sally Rooney, and Tana French.

Reading is a lifelong love and I am constantly on the lookout for new recommendations — let me know if you have any!
